Welcome to the Ward 5 website.
Ward 5 is located in North East Calgary bordered by the east city limits, south by 16 Avenue to the west by Deerfoot Trail, north by McKnight Boulevard to Métis Trail then north to 64 Avenue. NE Calgary is a culturally diverse quadrant of the city with true prairie landscape and farmland to the east and beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains to the west.
Homes in the NE are largely single-family residences but also offer some multifamily housing. Residents appreciate the proximity and easy access to the City Centre, Calgary International Airport, Aero Space Museum, C-Train light rail transit system, International shopping, Sunridge Mall, Regional Pathway System, Prairie Winds Park, Don Hartman Northeast Sportsplex, Village Square Leisure Centre, and a short drive to the new Telus World of Science just to name a few.

For general information and access to City services call 3-1-1 or submit an online service request. 3-1-1 connects citizens with non-emergency services through the telephone and web, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
