Celebrate International PARK(ing) Day

We invite you to join us on September 15, 2017 for Calgary’s second annual PARK(ing) Day.

What is PARK(ing) Day?

It’s an annual global event where citizens, artists and designers collaborate to transform metered parking spots into “PARK(ing)” spots – temporary public spaces.

Taking place in Victoria Park along 1st Street between 12 and 14 Avenues S.W. from noon to 6 p.m., the event involves the temporary closure of several parking spots, all of which will be remodeled into interactive exhibits that you can explore at your leisure.

We encourage everyone to visit these temporarily reinvented spaces and see the variety of innovative ways that Calgary’s urban spaces are used.
