To join the Business Tax Installment Payment Plan (BTIPP):
- request a BTIPP application form,
- agree to the terms and conditions of the plan,
- complete and return your application no later than the "Return by" date shown, and
- include a void cheque with your application.

A Business Tax Installment Payment Plan (BTIPP) application contains tax information specific to your business. Your customized application will be created and sent to you after your request has been received.

When can I join? Is there a charge to join?
You may join at any time during the year. However, if you join after January 1 (or after the due date shown on your supplementary tax bill), there is a filing fee of 2% of the missed installments.
You will need to make an initial payment equal to the missed installments from January 1, plus the filing fee at the time of application.
What if I have more than one business or location?
Although we only require one void cheque if all payments are to be withdrawn from the same bank account, we do require an application for each location.

This information will be used to manage the accounts receivable of The City of Calgary.
