On Sept. 30, 2012 a new Municipal Complex Bylaw governing the use of the Municipal Complex Plaza and Atrium came into effect. The bylaw serves to ensure balanced use of the Complex as a venue for public gatherings and municipal business operations.
The Calgary Municipal Complex is the centre of our municipal government and its primary administrative business operations. The Complex’s location in the heart of east downtown Calgary makes it an attractive venue for holding public events and gatherings and for showcasing displays. The Complex’s Atrium and Plaza are available for public bookings through Facility Management.
Use of the Atrium and Plaza area is governed by the Municipal Complex Bylaw.
