Thinking of retiring from The City of Calgary?

When you are ready to retire, we know it is one of the most important life events many of us will ever experience, from both a personal and professional perspective. Long before we retire, we begin contributing to our pension plans.

For your convenience, we have created two booklets to answer your questions.

  • “Your pension benefits” outlines the major provisions of the various benefit/pension plans for City of Calgary employees
  • “Retirement process & retiree benefits” will help you navigate the process to follow when you’re ready to retire and want to start collecting pension benefits.
