myID is an online service that offers you access to multiple City of Calgary services under one easy log-in. Registering is easy - just follow the simple steps below.
Registering as a business administrator
Register for a myid business account
Step 1: If you haven't done so already, please submit your business email address to the City of Calgary. A valid email address is required for online services. Your email address will be used to verify and protect your confidential information from unauthorized users, enabling a secure and safe registration process.
Step 2: register for City services through myID. Please note that you will need your business ID or license number. Once you have registered and established a log-in UserID and password for The City of Calgary, you will be able to enroll in a variety of participating online services, such as Business Search. Use your City UserID and Password to log-in in the future.
Step 3: Enroll in online City services available on myID. You can currently access online assessment services, with many more features in development. Visit calgary.ca/assessment to enroll in this service.
Registering as a citizen
Step 1: Visit the
citizen registration page and fill out all of the required fields. You will need to provide your first and last name, a valid email address, a unique UserID name and at least one security question and answer. You'll also need to agree to our
terms of use and
privacy policy. See our

Step 2: You will receive an email to the address provided with a temporary password and activation link. Please click on the activation link provided.
Step 3: You will receive another email confirming that your account has been activated. You can now
log on to myID using the username you provided and the temporary password that was previously emailed to you. You will be prompted to change your password and then forwarded to the myID main page.
