The future of Anderson Station
The final development application to redevelop 20 acres of City-owned land located at the Anderson Station Transit Oriented Development (TOD) site was presented at a Public Hearing of Council on October 5, 2015, where City Council referred the application back to Administration for further refinement based upon other work streams including Transit’s Parking Strategy, returning to Council, through Calgary Planning Commission (CPC) when the work is complete.
The City's Planning Administration presented our proposal to CPC August 27 2015, following the Real Estate & Development Services (RE&DS) submission of the Outline Plan and Land Use Redesignation Application in September 2014. The application was approved by CPC.
January - June 2015: Revisions are made to the proposal based on feedback from The City and citizens.
July - September 2015: RE&DS provided an update to the community on the results of the Transportation Impact Analysis (TIA) and any major changes which may have occurred during the review process.
August 2015: The Anderson TOD Outline Plan and Land Use Redesignation Application was presented to the Calgary Planning Commission (CPC) for review and recommendation wasmade to City Council.
Fall/Winter 2015: The Anderson TOD Land Use application was presented at a Public Hearing of Council October 5 2015, where City Council referred the application back Administration for further refinement.

Thank you to everyone who attended our public event on May 15 2014. Following this information session, the Real Estate & Development Services (RE&DS) produced the necessary work to submit the formal Outline Plan and Land Use Application for the Anderson Station land site.
