The following is a list of cats currently available for adoption at the Animal Service Centre. The list is updated 15 minutes during regular business hours, so please check back frequently. Additionally you can download the free City of Calgary Pets mobile application to view our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs on your mobile device. You may also want to check our impounded cats and impounded dogs page for a list of the cats currently at the Animal Services Centre that may become available for adoption in the near future.

Adoption procedures for cats and dogs:
- Appointments are no longer required - animals will be viewd on a "first come first meet basis.
- Meeting times: Animals may be viewed Monday - Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday - Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Address: The Animal Services Centre is located at 2201 Portland St S.E.
- Meetings can take anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes.
- It is strongly recommended that you come with all people and pets that will be living with the animal.
- We do not put “holds” on animals.
- Some animals with adoption conditions may require a second visit.

If you think one of the cats listed here or on the impounded cats page may be your lost cat please call 3-1-1 or visit our Animal Service Centre at 2201 Portland Street S.E. to identify your cat in person. We are open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. or Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. (closed statutory holidays).
