The following is a list of dogs currently available for adoption at the Animal Service Centre at 2201 Portland Street S.E. We update this list every 15 minutes during business hours so please check this page frequently. Additionally you can download the free City of Calgary Pets mobile application to view our adoptable cats and adoptable dogs on your mobile device. You may also want to check our impounded dogs or impounded cats page for the cats and dogs currently at the Animal Services Centre that may become available for adoption in the near future, or our featured Pet of the Week.

If you are interested in adopting one of these dogs please call 3-1-1 (from within Calgary) or 403-268-2489 (from outside of Calgary) to arrange a visit with the animal.
Think your lost dog is at our shelter?
If you think one of the dogs listed here or on the impounded dogs page may be your lost dog please call 3-1-1, or visit our Animal Service Centre at 2201 Portland Street S.E. to identify your dog in person. We are open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. (closed statutory holidays).
