Should you encounter injured wildlife, please note the following:

 
  • For injured Adult Mammals (i.e Bears, Elk, Moose, Caribou, Deer, Cougars and Coyotes of all ages) please call Alberta Fish and Wildlife at (403) 297-6423 or - for after-hours wildlife emergencies - please call their emergency line at 1-800-642-3800.
  • For all other injured, orphaned, or oiled wildlife, please contact the Alberta Institute for Wildlife Conservation Hotline at (403) 946-2361.

Smaller birds and mammals can also be taken to the following clinics that donate their time to provide initial treatment:
