We have a wide variety of exciting programs and special events that cater to children, youth and families, all led by qualified city staff. Join us all summer long and experience games, crafts, activities and more.

Park n' Play and Stay n' Play
Our Park n' Play and Stay n' Play programs are offered free of charge in various communities throughout the summer and are available for children ages 3-12 years. For more information visit our Park n' Play and Stay n' Play web pages.
Co-sponsored between several community associations and the City of Calgary, these programs involve fun games and activities that help children make new friends in their neighbourhoods. Programs will vary by site. Visit the websites indicated below for specific information.

This is a free outdoor, registered program that runs throughout the summer for children to learn new games, crafts and fun activities.
To register online, you will need your User Name/Client Barcode and Account PIN# handy. If you cannot remember your account information or do not have an account, visit the eregistration website at calgary.ca/recreation/registration.
Kids at Play
Registration begins May 25
This is a free outdoor summer program that focuses on recreational activities, skill development, sports and leadership. The program runs throughout the summer for 2 days/week. Pre-Registration is required. July 6 û Aug 21
These drop-in programs are designed to provide youth aged 12-17 with the opportunity to learn new things while having a fun, engaging experience. This program is offered 2-4 days per week. July 6 û August 21
Lawn Chair Theatre
Bring your lawn chair, enjoy great snacks and live entertainment for the entire family.
