The City of Calgary Community & Neighbourhood Services is extremely pleased to present an opportunity for you to have fun with us every summer!

We have a wide variety of exciting programs and special events that cater to children, youth and families, all led by qualified city staff. Join us all summer long and experience games, crafts, theatre and more.

Most of our programs are free, which enables all Calgarians to experience the benefits of community recreation.

Save time and line-ups on the first day by pre-registering for Park n' Play and Stay n' Play. Pre-registration does not guarantee entry. Entry to these programs is on a first-come, first-served basis.

We encourage you to supply us your information by pre-registering prior to program starting to help you save time filling out forms at the program when you arrive. On-line “pre-registration” for programs is available up to the Wednesday before the start of the program.

To register online, you will need your account information and credit card. If you don't have an account or you forgot your login information, visit get ready to register.

Online registration begins at 5:30 a.m. on the first day of booking. After that, you can register online anytime. Register online through the My Rec Guide, the Online Recreation program guide or eRecreation.

Park n' Play and Stay n' Play

Our Park n' Play and Stay n' Play programs are offered free of charge in various communities throughout the summer and are available for children ages 3-12 years. Pool Bus

The Pool bus is a free drop –in program is for kids ages 6-16. A bus will pick up the participants at the playground on Goddard Ave. NE, and bring participants to the Thornhill Aquatics Centre (6715 Centre St. N), where they will participate in a free supervised swim at no cost. Waiver forms (signed by a parent or legal guardian) are required for this program and will be supplied each night. Ages 6 – 16 years.

Summer Adventures

Summer Adventures runs Monday - Friday in three different locations in the southeast of Calgary. It is a free outdoor, drop-in program that runs throughout the summer where participants learn new games, crafts and fun activities. Program is for ages 6-12.
