Office of Partnerships

The City invests in hundreds of external partner organizations to improve the quality of life for Calgarians. These partnerships share resources and common goals.

The Office of Partnerships, supports members of administration in the investment of City resources and the management of relationships with its partners.

The Investing in Partnerships Policy recognizes the valuable contributions of The City's Partners. It was created to define principles and procedures for establishing or concluding partnerships, while fostering transparency and accountability. The policy aims for consistency in the development, support and management practices of partnerships. It seeks to manage the City's risk, while safeguarding public investment and interests.

The Office of Partnerships is the Investing in Partnerships Policy owner and coordinates Civic Partner Annual Reporting.

The City of Calgary's largest partners that receive significant City investment are referred to as Civic Partners. Investment in these partners varies but may include operating funding, capital funding, facilities, or assets.
