The Community Home Assistance and Maintenance Program for Seniors (CHAMPS) goal is to improve access to home maintenance programs for seniors in the community.
It achieves this goal through the following functions:
- Identifying and assisting community volunteer groups to organize programs to support seniors to access grants and services for home maintenance needs in their Community,
- To assist seniors themselves to access grants and services for home maintenance needs, and
- To partner with other organizations, staff and volunteers to deliver the CHAMPS program.
