Special Events

Community and Neighbourhood Services is pleased to present a number of special event opportunities throughout the year. Partnering with local community and special interest groups, Calgarians can actively participate in many neighbourhood and regional celebrations. The leisure benefits can be realized by all citizens, including children, youth, families and seniors.

All events are generally free or low cost in order to allow all Calgarians to experience the benefits of community recreation.

• International Day of Disabled Persons
  Every year on December 3rd, people around the world celebrate contributions of people with disabilities.
