The Calgary Fire Department is involved in a variety of exciting community and school programs. The goal is to promote fire education and prevention for all Calgarians while reducing the risk to life and property.
We collaborate with other City departments and outside agencies to ensure Calgarians can live and play safely in their homes and communities. We also work closely with public and private schools to ensure the year-round safety of students, staff and visitors and to promote youth programs such as the Fire Cadet Academy.
