The Calgary Fire Department is committed to reducing the loss of life and property, and to preserving the environment. The Calgary Fire Department offers wide-range of community programs aimed at increasing awareness and knowledge of fire-safety practices.
We collaborate with other City departments and outside agencies to ensure Calgarians can live and play safely in their homes and communities. We also work closely with public and private schools to ensure the year-round safety of students, staff and visitors and to promote youth programs such as the Fire Cadet Academy.
