A wide variety of resources are available for teachers and schools. From instructional programs to field trip locations there is much to choose from. Whether you are looking for  preschool or high school resources or programs for your class, or anything in between,  the business units below offer a wide selection of programs supporting school activities.



Physical activity is essential for our kids, and Recreation offers dozens of school programs to help Calgary kids get moving. We provide swimming, skating and sailing lessons, plus arts programs, fitness classes and first aid certifications for students.

Animal Bylaw Services

The City of Calgary Animal & Bylaw Services has been creating and presenting curriculum-based school programs since 1999. These programs are presented in your classroom by our experienced certified teachers; are free of charge; and available in both English and French.

The presentations are interactive and directly connected to provincial curriculum outcomes. During the 2010-2011 school year, we conducted more than 400 animal and bylaw related school presentations. Community & Neighbourhood Services

Give your students an unforgettable experience with one of our school programs. Community & Neighbourhood Services (CNS) offers several educational programs for Calgary kids, including: City Hall School, Go! Kids, How to Play and Staples for Education.
