Nature Day Camps

Send your kids on an action-packed nature adventure! Our day camps connect children with the natural world through hands-on activities and outdoor play. Guided by experienced educators, campers will explore bugs, birds, plants and animals while gaining a better understanding of nature and their place within it.

Worried about childcare? We have you covered. Pre-camp care is available from 7:30 - 9 a.m. and post-camp care is available from 4 - 5:30 p.m. Childcare is $25 per week per timeslot. Registration is required.

2018 Summer Nature Camps

Animal Antics (4 - 5 years)
Let your little camper’s imagination run wild during this week of half-day adventures. Campers will learn about bugs, birds, plants and animals, and will explore the wonderful world of animal antics. Activities will include guided walks, nature games and arts and crafts. Pre-camp care is available for the morning session and post-camp care is available for the afternoon session.

 Animalympics (6 - 9 years)
Every wonder which animal is the highest jumper, fastest runner, or strongest swimmer? Campers will not only learn the science behind amazing animal feats, they will also explore local wetlands and take part in their very own Olympic Games. Activities will include guided nature walks, a field trip to a local park and a variety of science- based games and crafts.

Nature's Superheroes (6 - 9 years)
Are you interested in learning what abilities make superheroes so super? Explore the different animal adaptations of your favorite masked defenders. Campers will create their own charismatic characters through nature exploration, outdoor adventures and imaginative play. Activities will include outdoor exploration, a field trip to a local park, free play and arts and crafts.

Predator and Prey (10 - 12 years)
Why are some animals’ predators and others prey? Discover the complex relationship within nature’s food chain and explore the links that connect local wildlife species. Learn about the roles humans play in the natural world and how we can peacefully coexist with urban wildlife. This camp includes a field trip to a local park, creating arts and crafts, exploring the great outdoors and playing nature games.
