Send your kids on an action-packed nature adventure! The City of Calgary’s nature day camps connect children with the natural world through hands-on activities and outdoor play. Guided by experienced educators, campers will explore bugs, birds, plants and animals while gaining a better understanding of nature and their place within it.
Worried about childcare? We have you covered. Pre- and post-camp care is available for $25 per timeslot. Registration is required.
Recreation also offers a number of day camps throughout the year.
Wild Wetland Adventure (6-9 yrs)
Explore art and nature on this wild wetland adventure! Campers will learn about designs, colours and shapes found in nature, and will capture these elements using different mediums. Daily activities will include art projects, nature games and wetland explorations. This camp includes a field trip to another park for a wetland investigation and art session.
