Remember a loved one, or honour a relative or friend by having a tree planted in one of the many parks in Calgary as a living memorial to that person. Or, consider commemorating a birthday, wedding, anniversary or any other special day by planting a tree in Calgary’s parks or natural areas. The City will work with you to determine an appropriate location and tree species for your symbolic tree. Your tree will help keep Calgary beautiful by increasing our urban forest.
How to apply
Please call 3-1-1 or 403-268-CITY (2489) if calling from outside Calgary to submit an application. Applications are subject to approval and based on site suitability, species availability and utility locates.
A program administrator will contact you regarding the approval or deferral of your application. Although your request may be approved in the current year, actual planting may not occur until the following year.
