Foothills track is open for free drop-in public use from May 1 - September 30.

NOTE: Any track or field users that require equipment and/or exclusive use of the track will need to book the track (booking information). Tracks can also be booked over the phone at 403-268-3800 (option #2).
A track practice includes the following track equipment: hurdles and starting blocks. Alternative equipment arrangements can be made through the Calgary Track Council. All track meet bookings require an application.

2011 upgrades to Foothills Athletic Park
The Foothills Athletic Park upgrades were completed in June 2011 for the Canadian Track and Field Championships. The upgrade provides Calgary track and field athletes and schools a world class outdoor athletics facility.
The enhancement includes an upgraded 400 meter track, four long jump pits, throwing cage and accessible spectator stands. The refurbishment places Calgary among the top cities in the country within this facility category.
This track now meets the IAAF Rule 140 technical requirements.
