The City of Calgary announced the Grand Opening of the Annex and new Artificial Turf Fields at the Calgary Soccer Centre on October 18, 2014. The new amenities respond to a tremendous need for multi-sport playing fields in Calgary and greatly enhance our capacity to host a range of sporting events and activities.

The City of Calgary assumed responsibility for operations of the Calgary Soccer Centre in 2014. We are currently reviewing the site to identify any deficiencies or areas for improvement. Planned work will address needs identified as priorities for operations. Replacement of the four artificial turf fields in the main building was identified as a priority for 2016. Future work will be determined based on need and available resources.
