Canada Day celebrations in Calgary

The City of Calgary is looking for a variety of artists, performers and organizations to participate in Canada Day celebrations on Monday, July 1, 2013. Canada Dayyc – our city, our country, our celebration, is meant to provide an opportunity for Calgarians to experience the vibrant and diverse arts and culture scene in our city.

We want artists from all genres and members from the community – festival and event organizers, cultural groups, and nonprofit associations to entertain and engage crowds at Calgary’s largest single day festival of the year, attracting over 160,000 visitors. Volunteer for Canada Dayyc

Join our volunteer team and experience Canada Day like never before! View the complete list and description of Canada Day volunteer opportunities.

Volunteers are asked to commit to at least one shift ranging from three to six hours in length. A mandatory orientation session will take place on June 23, 2013, 1pm – 3pm at Municipal Plaza Atrium, 800 Macleod Trail South (enter via Macleod Trail).

Food and merchandise vendors

The City of Calgary is looking for food, beverage and merchandise vendors to participate in Canada Dayycc.
