North and South Crosstown BRT Stations Public Art

Artworks from The City of Calgary Public Art Collection will be reproduced onto the shelter glass of 57 bus stops on the new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) routes. These new bus shelters will provide improved transportation services to various communities and major destinations including Mount Royal University, Rockyview General Hospital, Heritage Park, SAIT, Foothills Hospital and Quarry Park.

Our goal is to have all of the stations on these routes feature artworks from the Collection as a way to celebrate the depth and breadth of this important legacy.

Construction began at the end of 2017, please see Transportation Infrastructure's BRT project page for more information on the BRT projects.
