Book a playfield

1. Check for facility availability

• Check availability by contacting Facility Bookings (Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.) at 403-268-3800 option #2, or email facilitybooking@calgary.ca. 
• Requests for availability lists can be made by phone or email, starting on playfield public day.

2. Application process

• Applications for regular bookings (not including tournaments/day camps) are not accepted prior to public day.
• Up to and including five dates can be booked via telephone by contacting Facility Bookings or by completing the online playfield application form.
  
• An application must be submitted if requesting: 
• More than five dates - complete the online playfield application form
• Tournaments or day camps - complete the online playfield tournament application form
  
• Please read the information privacy statement prior to completing your online application. You will be required to confirm that you have read this agreement as part of your online application submission.
• Please review the playfield regulations prior to booking
• Applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Tournament or day camp applicants will be contacted for payment of a $26.25 non-refundable tournament or day camp administration fee. Your application will be sent to the appropriate Parks area office(s) for review when this fee is paid.
• Please note that submission of the application form is not a confirmed permit.

3. Your confirmation and payment

• For dates booked over the phone, payment is due immediately.
• For booking requests involving more than five dates our Customer Service Centre will contact you once your application has been processed to confirm your booking and provide payment options.
• When requesting a tournament or day camp our Customer Service Centre will contact you once approval has been received and your application has been processed to confirm your booking and provide payment options. This process can take up to 4 weeks.
• Tournaments/day camps are subject to a $26.25 non-refundable tournament or day camp administration fee and a 25% non refundable deposit.

Cancellations or amendments

Please review our standard cancellation & amendment policies that apply to all bookings.

Additional cancellation & amendment notes:

• E-class playfields are non refundable as of April 15th.
• Cancellations or amendments must be received by the Facility Booking office a minimum of seven (7) business days in advance of the rental date.
• Payment of the tournament or day camp administration fee and 25% deposit are non-refundable.

Inclement weather refunds

• Rain out or inclement weather refunds for tournaments will be processed when the renter contacts Facility Bookings at 403-268-3800 (option 2) no later than the next business day after your event.
• Refunds for tournament rain outs will be less the 25% deposit and tournament or day camp administration fee.
• Regular bookings (Pick Up's) and renewal bookings do not qualify for inclement weather or rain out refunds.
