I am a business owner and want to know how I can rent space in one of the new recreation facilities.

If you are interested in renting space for a business, that opportunity may become available through each respective operator.

Canlan Ice Sports will be operating the Great Plains facility, while YMCA Calgary will operate Quarry Park, Rocky Ridge and Seton. Please contact the operators with your inquiry or view the Functional Program and Concept Design Report to get a sense of the best fit for your business at each of the four new facilities.

Who do I contact to offer programs at one of the new facilities?

Each operator will be responsible for the programming at each facility and your best bet is to contact them directly. Canlan Ice Sports will be operating the Great Plains facility, while YMCA Calgary will operate Quarry Park, Rocky Ridge and Seton. For more details on plans for the facilities view the Functional Program and Concept Design Report.

How can I apply for a job at one of the new facilities?

At this time there are no specific individual career opportunities associated with these projects. The City is managing the design and construction of each facility and contracted firms have been engaged for specific needs.

Once each facility is running, job opportunities may be become available through the operator. Canlan Ice Sports will be operating the Great Plains facility, while YMCA Calgary will operate Quarry Park, Rocky Ridge and Seton.

If you are interested in being involved in a volunteer capacity, we would welcome you to participate with your community advisory groups. The N.W. Community Advisory Group and the S.E. Calgary Recreation Society advise The City on the needs of communities and support communications and engagement with various stakeholders.
