Glenmore Sailing School accessibility

Improvements to the Glenmore Dam require Glenmore Reservoir to be maintained at lower than normal water levels. This will impact the 2018 boating season but will not have an impact on Calgary’s drinking water supply. In order to maintain a safe environment, all sailboats or boats requiring a trailer launch will not be permitted on the Glenmore Reservoir this season.

These changes may also effect accessibility at Glenmore Sailing School.

Review the 2018 recreational terms of use for Glenmore reservoir.

Please note: Calgary Recreation is improving accessibility in facilities whenever upgrades are done. Levels of accessibility vary according to when our facilities were built and when major renovations were completed, so not all parts of the facility may be “accessible for all”.
