Sailing in Calgary

The City of Calgary's Recreation department operates Glenmore Reservoir Services. These services are comprised of the Glenmore Boat Patrol and the Glenmore Sailing School.

Boat and stall rentals

Two types of boats are available to rent from Glenmore Reservoir Services: sail boats and day cruisers. The public can also rent boat stalls at Glenmore Reservoir from May 1 to October 31.

Parking and drop-off zone

Parking is available in the south lot by Variety Park. Please do not park in the boat parking spaces along the roadway leading to the school or around the circle in front of the school.

Due to congestion in front of the Sailing School please pay attention to the drop zone and do not park in the turnaround area.
