Through City Council and other efforts such as

PlanIt,
citizens have set ambitious visions for Calgary and it is the responsibility of The Corporation of The City of Calgary to undertake programs and services to achieve those visions. Part of that responsibility is to communicate to citizens how each and every program or service we offer helps achieve those visions.
Beginning with
the launch of the new calgary.ca website in 2011, The City has launched a new way of communicating to help citizens learn the connection between specific City services and the visions they help achieve. When you see

2012-2014 Business Plans
The approved business plans and budgets together form the path The City will take over the next three years, 2012 to 2014, to provide the services and programs that Calgarians have asked for. The budget is the financial roadmap, created in concert with the business plans that have been developed to meet Council’s Fiscal Plan for Calgary.
