The City of Calgary's Business Registration system will help determine what approvals, permits and business licences may be needed to operate a business within the city of Calgary.
If it is determined that you require a business licence, you will be advised of the licensing category or categories within which your business falls, other approvals and/or inspections that may be required before the licence will be issued, and how to obtain the licence. A non-refundable licence fee is required before your application can be processed.
In person - come to the Customer Service Counter located in the Calgary Municipal Building, third floor, 800 Macleod Trail S.E. Be prepared to pay your licence fee.

email. NOTE: You will be contacted for payment. Even if you've applied for your licence by phone or fax, you may be required to come to our customer service counter. Some categories of business licence require you to provide two pieces of identification so that a consultation with the Calgary Police Service may be undertaken.
