Electrical Permits

 

All electrical installations in new buildings and renovations require Electrical Permits. Permits must be applied for and the work done by a certified electrical contractor. In order to be eligible to apply for Contractor Electrical Permits, you must:

In some cases, homeowners may apply for permits and do the electrical work if they own and live in the dwelling unit and are doing the work them self.
