Pop-up Food Markets on Transit

Connecting more Calgary Transit commuters more often with healthy fresh food options

If you commute on the Ctrain you may have recently noticed a pop up food market with plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables at select stations.

The Fresh Food Market is a project initiated by The City of Calgary in efforts to bring more fresh produce to Calgarians.

We want to make fresh healthy food available to more Calgarians by placing Fresh Food Markets along the primary transit network, improving the commuter experience and encouraging healthy food choices.

The produce sold at the Fresh Food Markets comes directly from regional and local farms to guarantee the freshest high-quality produce at the lowest price. Prices are as low as possible to enable access to fresh produce, to encourage commuters to make healthier food choices without breaking their food budget.
