Subdivision by Instrument
A property that consists of more than one original surveyed lot held under one title (i.e.: title reads “Lots 1 and 2, Block 1, Plan 991 9999”) and are being separated exactly along the original lot lines (i.e.: Lot 1, Block 1, Plan 991 9999 and Lot 2, Block 1, Plan 991 9999).
Subdivision of a parcel into Bareland Condominium Units and/or Common Property pursuant to the Condominium Property Act.
Subdivision of a parcel into titled volumetric units of space pursuant to the Land Titles Act.
Conforming Tentative Plan
Initial subdivision of a parcel(s) for which an Outline Plan has been previously approved that generally conforms to the Approved Outline Plan. (Conformance with Outline Plan will be confirmed by the File Manager)
Non-Conforming Tentative Plan
Initial subdivision of a parcel(s) for which an Outline Plan has been previously approved that generally does not conform to the Approved Outline Plan. Minor/Substantive Non-Conformance will be established by the CPAG Team reviewing the file based on whether the non-conformance necessitates a re-circulation of the application.
½ Acre Out in East Springbank
A parcel in East Springbank as identified in Bylaw 12Z96 and existing as of 1994 May 09 may be subdivided, only once, where the purpose of the subdivision is to create an additional parcel of no less than 0.2 hectare (0.5 acre).

Subdivision of one or more parcel(s) into two or more parcels other than those listed above.
