Locations of future Cannabis Stores are governed by the Land Use Bylaw 1P2007 (“LUB”), as amended. A discretionary Development Permit approval will be required prior to operating a Cannabis Store, as well as many other requirements. Proposed amendments to the LUB must still be passed by Council before the Cannabis Store use is added to the districts anticipated in this Map. DC districts may need to undergo a land use re-designation for the use to be added to that district.
This map provides a visual representation of some, but not all, of the set-backs required in the LUB and Provincial Regulations for Cannabis Stores. The Map may not be used to produce accurate measurements. Periodically the Map will update with pending and decided applications. Approval by a Development Authority is not guaranteed.
