The existing eastbound off ramp is being removed and a new ramp will be built in its place. Traffic travelling from northbound Deerfoot Trail to eastbound Stoney Trail / Marquis of Lorne Trail will be re-routed to go under the Stoney Trail bridge to access the turnoff to go eastbound or westbound. Temporary traffic signals have been installed to help motorists heading east on Stoney Trail as they will have to cross the westbound lanes.
Between 10 AM and 3 PM May 9 only, the traffic signals will be in flash mode and traffic control persons will be on site to direct traffic. The traffic signals will be switched to regular timing prior to the rush hour and will remain on for the duration of the construction.
