Liveable Streets has developed the Pedestrian and Bicycle Policy and Design Reports. The goal of these policies is to continue to improve the design of walking and cycling transportation facilities in the City of Calgary. This can be achieved by providing well-designed, direct, convenient, safe and comfortable pedestrian and bicycle routes and facilities. These policies form the basis for future design guidelines for walking and cycling projects within Calgary.
