Congratulations to the winners of the Photography Contest!
As part of the 2012 Mayor's Environment Expo, the photography contest encourages students to consider the environmental community that surrounds them, and to take action to protect it. The photographs provide insight to how youth perceive the environment.
This year, 51 photos were submitted by Calgary students in the four categories below:
- Before and After
- Trash to Treasure
- Breathe
- Patterns
They were narrowed down in each category by a panel of judges following specific criteria. From the finalists, a panel of photography experts selected the grand prize winners.
All photographs submitted for the contest will be displayed at The Mayor's Environment Expo in the City of Calgary Municipal Building from June 5-7, 2012.
