Six-month environmental leadership program with in-class support

New Teacher Resources for Mayors Environment Expo

Eco-Leaders is a youth environmental leadership program that helps school-based student teams design and implement an environmental project that aims to solve a real-life problem.

The time commitment is 60 hours over six months, from January to June. Each Eco-Leader class must have a minimum of one lead teacher and one support teacher. Teams will present their findings to Calgary schools and exhibitors at our annual Mayor's Environment Expo in June.

Find out how your class can become an Eco-Leader at a future Expo.
