Parkdale Water Walk Did you know that ferries were once a key form of transportation up and down the Bow River? According to early settler and prominent pioneer Alfred S. McKay, "nothing was barred excepting cattle and range horses...we did draw the line at those."
Join us to learn more about the many unique connections that the Parkdale community has to the river on a free one-hour guided walk on Saturday, May 4.
The walk will begin at the Parkdale Community Centre (3512 – 5th Ave NW) at 11 a.m. and will take place rain or shine. No RSVPs are necessary. |
