Put empty and clean coffee pods:
- Into your blue cart for recycling
- Take to a community recycling depot
Special instructions
- Empty out coffee grounds into the compost.
- Remove the seal and recycle separately.
Why can't this be composted?
- Compostable coffee pods don't break down quickly enough for The City's composting process and may contain synthetic, plastic or other non-compostable materials.
- Some coffee pod manufacturers may have their own recycling solutions such as Nespresso. Check the manufacturer's website for details.
