 Gasoline or diesel fuel

Dispose of it safely

You can take up to 20 litres of gas or fuel per week to any of The City landfill Throw 'n' Go areas or designated fire stations, free of charge*. The fuel must be in a secure, labelled container.

If you would like to keep your container (jerry can, etc.) after disposing of the gasoline/fuel, you must go to one of the three landfill Throw 'n' Go areas.

*(Note, charges will apply at the Throw 'n' Go for mixed loads containing more than just household hazardous waste).

Never flush gasoline down your toilet, sink or drain as it is harmful to the environment and may damage the pipes in your home.
