How to recycle coated and wax papers

- Butchers meat wrap paper
- Patty paper sheets – often used to separate food products such as frozen hamburgers, cheese slices, deli meat and baked goods

Put into your blue cart or take to a community recycling depot
Put empty and clean wax paper and coated papers:
- In your blue cart for recycling
- At a community recycling depot
Special instructions
Make sure all food scraps are removed. Use a napkin to wipe off any food residue.
Why can't this be composted?
The wax and coatings on these types of paper makes them unsuitable for composting.
