How to recycle potato chip bags

Put into your blue cart or take to a community recycling depot
Put empty and clean chip and snack bags:
- In your blue cart for recycling
- At a community recycling depot
Why can't this be composted?
Even if labelled as “biodegradable” or “compostable”, potato chip bags will not break down properly at the composting facility. They may also contain synthetic and plastic materials that will contaminate the finished compost.
