 Stand up flexible pouch

Throw it away

Stand up pouches are not recyclable and belong in your black cart as garbage.

These pouches are made of multiple layers of materials (usually a mix of plastic/paper/metal) which are not easily separated for recycling.

These pouches are commonly used for food products and household goods. Common items you may find in plastic food bags include frozen fruit, cereal, beef jerky, coffee, trail mix, dried fruit, shredded cheese, rice and more.

Common household items that use stand-up pouches include laundry detergent tabs, dishwasher tabs, dish soap, fertilizer, dog food, and more.
