Erosion control measures

Soil erosion is when wind, rainfall and snowmelt cause the removal and loss of soil. Erosion has the potential to carry significant amounts of sediments into watercourses or storm sewers during and immediately after rainstorm and snowmelt events. To mitigate the negative impact, we need to be pro-active by employing best management practices, including the following:
