health, wellness, and engagement of employees. When employees are healthy and engaged, and sickness and injuries are managed effectively, an
organization is said to be healthy.
There will be times when employees experience health issues affecting their work performance. The support given to them at this time can help
them recover or manage health issues more quickly, shorten their absence from work, and keep them involved and engaged with the team.
The City’s health management cycle is a major support mechanism to help you as a supervisor, and explain the roles and responsibilities at each
stage of health or sickness. This site walks you through each step of the process, and provides resources and whom to contact for help managing
health and wellness in the workplace.
