Engineers-in-Training (EIT) Rotation Program


The City provides unique employment opportunities for recent university civil, environmental, or chemical engineering graduates who are registered, or in the process of registering, as Members-in-Training with   or chemical engineering graduates who are registered, or in the process of registering, as Members-in-Training with  or chemical engineering graduates who are registered, or in the process of registering, as Members-in-Training with APEGA

An Engineer-in-Training (EIT) may be employed with The City in one of two ways:

  1. As a trainee in the EIT Rotation Program.
  2. As a trainee in a regular established engineer position.

​​Experience

The EIT Rotation Program will give you the engineering experience and professional development needed to meet APEGA’s professional engineering requirements. You will receive regular coaching and be involved in shaping your engineering career at The City. 

Job competitions are held yearly with postings going out in February/March with employment start dates in May/June.
