Land Use Items
Secondary suites were approved in Southview, Southwood, Ogden, Huntington Hills, Scenic Acres and Marlborough Park.
Northland Village Mall Redevelopment
Council approved an application to redesignate the existing Northland Village Mall site. This redesignation will allow for redevelopment which will provide enhanced retail and residential options creating a pedestrian friendly, well connected and adaptable mixed use destination.
New Community Name for Canada Olympic Park
Council approved the a new community name street names for a development within a portion of the lands commonly known as Canada Olympic Park. The community and street names were chosen in consultation with the Blackfoot Elders. The names pay tribute to the Blackfoot history associated with the land. The new community name is Medicine Hill, which is translated from the name Aiss ka pooma.
