Review and Improve Existing Bikeways

The City of Calgary monitors and adjusts existing bikeways based on feedback from 3-1-1 calls, citizen requests to Councillors and dialogue with bikeway users. Three existing bikeway routes have been identified for review and improvement in 2015 and 2016:

•11 Street S.E. between 46 Avenue S.E. and Heritage Drive
52 Street N.W. between Home Road N.W. and Bowness Road N.W.
•53 Street N.W. between 40 Avenue N.W. and Crowchild Trail

The route reviews will include a combination of technical analysis and stakeholder input to understand and identify was to improve the existing bikeways so they operate more effectively for all road users.
