Ward 11 official website

It’s Check-in Time! For the 2016 Budget that is.

The City of Calgary adpoted a 4 year budget cycle starting in 2015 as part of aligning the budgeting process with election cycles. An overall 4 year budget and business plan, or “Action Plan”, was created for 2015-2018, with an intent for a mid-cycle adjustment in the fall of 2016.

Starting in February, the City of Calgary will be checking in with the citizens to make sure progress is being made in the right direction and get input for the next two years. We want to hear what matters most to Calgarians and which priorities The City should focus on in 2017-2018. The results of engagement activities will help shape adjustments to Action Plan 2017-2018. A variety of communication and engagement events will be held across the city using The City’s engage bus starting in February. As well, there is an interactive survey tool will also be available at for Calgarians to provide their input.

The engage! Bus will be at the gates of Heritage Park on Saturday, February 13th from 12 to 2 pm to check in with your priorities for 2017-2018
