Crowchild Trail is an
integral component of Calgary’s transportation network. The City of Calgary is
conducting a new six-phase study for Crowchild Trail from 24 Avenue NW to 17 Avenue SW. Although this does not pass through our ward boundaries, it is an important commuter road to
other parts of the city.
The City is now
5: Concept Selection and Recommendation. In this phase, the City will be
presenting draft recommendations for the medium and long-term plan for changes
and upgrades to Crowchild Trail. Over the course of the next several weeks, the
project team will continue to work with Calgarians and stakeholders to gather
feedback and input that will be used to help refine and finalize
recommendations for Crowchild Trail. The final recommendations will be
presented in Phase
6: Reporting and Completion in December 2016.
